Each type of tag has unique electronics built within their structure which determines the strength of the signal it receives and transmits to the detection system placed at the exit. This can also be influenced by the type and configuration of the Detection Systems used. The ratings we have applied are on WG Security Product's range of detection systems and may vary on other manufacturer’s products. The detection signal’s strength can be categorized into:

Standard:  Emits excellent signal range over the standard industry distance. 

High:  Emits excellent range over a wide distance.

Very High:  Emits excellent range over a very wide distance.
