Historically, EAS has proven its value as a Loss Prevention staple however there are certain items that need an added layer of protection. This unique, smart technology is designed to “guard” and contain merchandise within a specified area without the use of cables or lock up. Its modular components allow merchandise to be confidentially displayed while discreetly protecting your valuable inventory. Modular capabilities allow for easy coverage in stockroom to protect and track removal of back stock.

Sentinel is comprised of RAD's and Tags, all interacting to provide unsurpassed monitoring and protection.

• RAD units radiate specific areas searching for transponder presence,     providing an intelligent link with the transponders. Alarm or Silence     commands are given depending on where the tags are located.
• Tags react uniquely to the particular command issued by RAD units. Depending on its location, the tag may remain     silent or alarm as commanded. Each tag also includes an on-board anti-tampering audible alarm.

RAD Communication

The powerful RAD units are discretely installed in the ceiling and radiate a signal, providing an intelligent link, bonding the RAD with the hard tag’s transponder. If the Sentinel tag is removed from the field, the tags and remote alarm will sound to notify the sales associate that merchandise has left the designated area.

Sentinel Tags

Like our Wave technology, Sentinel’s transponder tags are uniquely designed with a tamper-proof housing to alert you when the tag has been tampered with or upon unauthorized removal. In addition, when the tag is removed from the RAD (Radiate and Detect) designated zone, it will no longer receive communication from the Sentinel RAD and will sound an alarm. Sentinel tags are available in a variety of shapes and sizes. The Sentinel tag is disarmed with a RAD unit at the register then removed with a magnetic detacher.
